One of the main issues in the higher education system is the selection of university professors and the characteristics of guest professors. The purpose of this study was to present a model and ranking the competency of visiting professors, which is located in the North Tehran branch of Azad University Has been done and applied research. In this research, a combined method (qualitative-quantitative) was used. Simultaneously with conducting scientific and research, 16 people from the University of Experts were selected by selecting the method and a semi-structural interview was conducted with them to saturate the theory and rumor model of professors' rumors. The content analysis method was obtained. Based on the merits of the innovative model, a questionnaire was designed and distributed among 5 university experts who were selected by the snowball method. By performing the Delphi process in three steps, a modified model of rumors is obtained. In the model validation stage, a questionnaire was developed and distributed among 285 professors and analyzed the data with Lisrel software. Finally, the professors' rumor model in 3 dimensions (personality, scientific, ethical), 6 components (personal, interpersonal), Professional, general, objective, and subjective) and 33 indicators are presented. To rank the competencies using the hierarchical analysis process, the paired results questionnaire was distributed among 7 people from the University of Experts who were selected by the selected method and the data were analyzed with Expert Choice software. The results showed the competency Personality-Individual with a weight of 0.286 has the most of your qualities. After that, being a scientific-professional rumor with a weight of 0.263, personality-interpersonal competence with a weight of 0.180, moral-objective rumor with a weight of 0.148, moral-mental rumor with a weight of 0.078, and general scientific-competence Weighing 0.046 put it next.
