fa فرسایش سرمایه انسانی و انسداد چرخه بازتولید علمی: روایتی کیفی از سنواتی شدن دانشجویان تحصیلات تکمیلی دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد Erosion of Human Capital and Disruption in Scientific Reproduction Cycle: A Qualitative Account of Graduate Students Exceeding the Standard Duration of Study at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad تخصصي Special پژوهشي Research هدف: سنواتی شدن دانشجویان تحصیلات تکمیلی از چالش‌های مهم آموزش عالی است که پیامدهای آن فراتر از تأخیر در فراغت از تحصیل بوده و می‌تواند به فرسایش سرمایه انسانی و اختلال در بازتولید علمی دانشگاه منجر شود. پژوهش حاضر با هدف تبیین کیفی علل سنواتی شدن دانشجویان تحصیلات تکمیلی و پیامدهای آن بر سرمایه انسانی و بازتولید علمی در دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد انجام شد. روش: این پژوهش با رویکرد تحلیل مضمون و بر اساس الگوی شبکه مضامین آتراید استرلینگ انجام شد. داده‌ها از طریق مصاحبه‌های نیمه‌ساختاریافته با اعضای هیئت علمی و با نمونه‌گیری هدفمند تا دستیابی به اشباع نظری گردآوری و تحلیل شد. همچنین، برای تکمیل و غنای یافته‌ها، از یک نشست گروه کانونی با دانشجویان سنواتی استفاده شد. یافته‌ها: یافته‌ها نشان داد که سنواتی شدن در قالب پنج مضمون فراگیر شامل تعارض هویت علمی با ضرورت‌های معیشتی و خانوادگی، موانع ساختاری و بوروکراتیک، تعامل استاد و دانشجو و سبک‌های ناکارآمد هدایت علمی، فرسایش سرمایه انسانی و انسداد چرخه بازتولید علمی و الگوهای متفاوت رسوب تحصیلی قابل تبیین است. کاهش انگیزه و هویت پژوهشی، افت بهره‌وری علمی، تضعیف تعاملات علمی، افزایش فشارهای اقتصادی و روان‌شناختی و کاهش ظرفیت تولید و بازتولید دانش از مهم‌ترین پیامدهای شناسایی‌شده بود. نتیجه‌گیری: سنواتی شدن صرفاً مسئله‌ای آموزشی یا فردی نیست، بلکه پدیده‌ای ساختاری و چندبعدی است که با فرسایش سرمایه انسانی و اختلال در بازتولید علمی دانشگاه پیوند دارد. بنابراین، اصلاح سیاست‌های هدایت علمی، توسعه حمایت‌های دانشجویی و کاهش موانع ساختاری می‌تواند به حفظ سرمایه انسانی و ارتقای کارآمدی نظام آموزش عالی کمک کند. Objective: Extended study duration among graduate students is a major challenge in higher education, with consequences that extend beyond delayed graduation and may lead to human capital erosion and disruption of the academic reproduction cycle. This study aimed to provide a qualitative explanation of the causes of extended study duration among graduate students and its implications for human capital and academic reproduction at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Method: This study employed thematic analysis based on Attride-Stirling’s Thematic Networks Approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with faculty members using purposive sampling until theoretical saturation was reached. In addition, a focus group session with graduate students experiencing extended study duration was conducted to complement and enrich the findings. Findings: The findings showed that extended study duration can be explained through five overarching themes: conflict between academic identity and livelihood and family demands; structural and bureaucratic barriers; faculty–student interactions and ineffective academic supervision styles; human capital erosion and disruption in academic reproduction cycle; and diverse patterns of prolonged study. Reduced motivation and research identity, declining academic productivity, weakened academic interactions, increased economic and psychological pressures, and reduced capacity for knowledge production and reproduction were among the most important identified consequences. Conclusion: Extended study duration is not merely an educational or individual issue but a structural and multidimensional phenomenon associated with human capital erosion and disruption in academic reproduction within the university.
